Pediatric Trauma
Children who participate in sports and other physical activities frequently get injuries. The child’s bone breaks either totally or partially with each fracture. Compared to girls, boys are more likely to break. In terms of growth and behavior, child and adult bones are not alike. After a fracture, pain, edema, crepitation, soreness, and deformity are frequently observed. There may be bruising and redness all over the skin. Accurate diagnosis is obtained by combining X-ray of the affected portion with clinical examination.
